Wanderer

This paddle is my personal favourite for tours. My first paddle with a very long and narrow blade had parallel sides, but I rounded them more and more over time. This made the look more pleasing and the result is the Wanderer model. Provided that the water depth is sufficient, it fulfils many wishes for a good paddle. It gives the good feeling of always being able to build up enough power for the forward movement, even though it is rather narrow and light. Because of the small width you can turn the paddle under water without much resistance. This makes it especially suitable for paddle strokes where it is returned under water ("Indian Stroke"). The pear-shaped handle runs out a little longer and also allows a lateral grip in Northwood style.
